Mountain Bike Arkansas contains all the information you will need to start planning your next mountain bike trip to Arkansas. We created this site after we made a trip out of state and had problems finding good trail information for the areas we were going to be visiting. If you are like us you have to have your mountain bike fix daily so hopefully this site will help take some of the anxiety out of your trip to Arkansas.

Arkansas is loaded with trails for all experience levels. The trails are located all over the state so that no matter where you are coming from you can find a trail to your liking. Some people from out of state are really surprised when they get to Arkansas and find out that we have Mountains, they always make the commit that they thought Arkansas was flat. Well the terrain here is very diversified as you will discover.

So step on in and see what is awaiting you for your trip to Arkansas. Inside you will find Commentaries, Maps, GPS waypoints, GPS profiles, pictures, and videos on the trails. We also have information on the local area for each trail to make your visit more enjoyable.

We collect as much information that we can get out little hands for the trails listed on this site including links to local cycling sources such as bike shops and bike clubs. We try to keep the Arkansas trail information as up to date as we can. The out of state trails are merely posted on the site as a means of information and in no way an authoritative source.

PDF - These require Adobe Reader to open. You can download Adobe Reader here.

GPX - These are GPS eXchange files for your GPS. You will need software to transfer these files to your GPS. Maps-gps-info.com has a load of software to transfer these files to your GPS.

KMZ - These are Google Earth's file format for storing place marks, network link information, and much more. We use the zipped version to keep the files small. You will need Google Earth to open this file format. You can get Google Earth here.

Trail Add - A form that will allow you to request that a trail be added to Mountain Bike Arkansas. We can only add trails located in the State of Arkansas.

Main Menu:

Home - Will always bring you back to the home page.

Arkansas Trails - Will take you to the Arkansas Trails page where you can then decide on how you would like to find a particular trail.

Out of State Trails - This will take you to a page where you can see some of the trails we have had the pleasure of riding that are not in the state of Arkansas. We do not keep up to date information on these trails they are listed only for general information purpose and for folks in Arkansas that might be heading out of town. Please use the links associated with each trail for more up to date information.

Resources Menu: The Resources menu is a listing of external sites that may provide useful information if you are planning a trip to Arkansas. You will also find a lot of these same links associated with each trail on the individual trail pages.

Associations: This is a list of external sites that Mountain Bike Arkansas is proud to be associated with. Please visit these sites and let them know you appreciate their work.

User Menu: You will not see this menu item unless you have created an account and have logged into that account. This menu allows you to view your account details.

Login Form: This is where you can log into your account or create a new account.

Polls: We will try to put up new polls every few months or so just to keep things interesting. You do not need to be a registered user to participate in a poll.

Newsletter: If you would like to sign up for the Mountain Bike Arkansas newsletter this is the place to do it, you do not have to be a registered user to sign up. The newsletter will inform you any time there is a change to this site, news concerning trails or events in Arkansas. If you have information that you would like on the newsletter please use the Contact Us form to do so.

Event List: This is a list of known mountain bike events. You may add events to this list only if you are a registered user of this site. You do not have to register with this site in order to view events. Events must be mountain bike events. If your event does not fall with a listed category and then it probably needs to go somewhere else. Events include tours, XC Race's, Xtrera's, Trials, Downhill, Free Ride. If you have an event that you would like listed and you feel it is a Mountain Bike Event and there is no category for it, please feel free to send us information about the event using the Contact Us form.

Individual Trail Pages: The same information is still available that was on the old website, we did not change the format up much. What is new is there is now a loca weather forecast at the bottom of each page. All the links and information regarding the trail is now listed in a small menu near the bottom of the page, just click on the heading text of the item you would like to see. We have added a rating system for each trail where you can rate the trail if you are a registered user. Finally there is a comments sections where you can leave your comments about a trail if you are a registered user.
