Overview: It has been many years since I have ridden at the camp, not sure when the last time was but it was at a race they use to put on there called 100 minutes of CARP and it was one of my favorites. Seeing as it has been so long since I have been out there and a lot of new trail has been added as well as the way you get onto the base, I will take a few excerpts from others and place here until we can get back out there and ride it once again.

This is a diverse landscape with easy and hard trails. - Arkansas Cycling and Fitness

The über trail system of central Arkansas has a little something for riders of every skill level. Camp Robinson is a state military installation located in North Little Rock just off of I-40 and the Burns Park exit. - Ouachita Mountain Bike Adventures

Awesome trail system of 40 miles of rip roaring super silky singletrack. When I have time this is the best place to ride in Central AR (LR & NLR area). The only downside is that it takes a little longer to get to and from the trailhead due to security checkpoints b/c the trails are on an army base. But the trails are so sweet it is well worth the extra 15 min. I feel very lucky to even get to ride out there at all. Everything from super easy and flat like the Yucca Trail to hardcore like Advanced Trig and everything in between to make any rider leave with a smile. -  tonofearth

From what I understand you do not have to be a CARP member any longer to obtain access to these trails. All you need is what they call the Sportsman pass which can be picked up at the base. Arkansas Outside has a great step by step instruction for obtaining this pass.

I do suggest you take a map our have the MTBProject App on your phone before going out there. The trail system is a maze of trails and from what I understand it is easy to get lost out there. The map I have on this site may not be up to date but I have not been able to find a newer version anywhere on the web.

Recommended Route:  Just go explore.

Rating: From what I have read about this trail it is good for everyone. I will know more once we get out there again and ride it.

Arkansas Trail Rules

Ride Open Trails: Respect trail and road closures — ask a land manager for clarification if you are uncertain about the status of a trail.

Leave No Trace: Be sensitive to the dirt beneath you. Wet and muddy trails are more vulnerable to damage than dry ones. Don't cut switchbacks. Be sure to pack out at least as much as you pack in.

Control Your Bicycle: Inattention for even a moment could put yourself and others at risk. Obey all bicycle speed regulations and recommendations, and ride within your limits.

Yield Appropriately: Riders yeild to foot and horse traffic. Riders traveling downhill should yeild to ones headed uphill, unless signed for oneway or downhill traffic only.

Never Scare Animals: Animals are easily startled by an unannounced approach, a sudden movement or a loud noise. Give animals enough room and time to adjust to you.

Plan Ahead: Know your equipment, your ability and the area in which you are riding and prepare accordingly. Always wear a helmet and appropriate safety gear.
